Arianna Tsar is, in many ways, a regular 15-year-old. She attends a performing arts high school in Toronto, going to school and studying for tests just like her peers.
She is also a budding talent with tens of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify. Her latest release, “Paranoia,” is due out August 7th. It promises to be Arianna Tsar’s biggest release yet.
Dealing with the paranoia… Illusion
Dealing with the paranoia… Solution
With pristine production by Riley Urick (worked on the Grammy winning Chris Brown album), “Paranoia” hits hard. The song kicks off with a wah-wah guitar, soon joined by layered distorted guitars, electric piano, and thumping drums.
Arianna’s vocal sound has a pure alto clarity with just enough grit for when the moment calls for it, reminiscent of Avril Lavigne at times. “Paranoia” features her signature style, in which vocal lines are interspersed with well-placed ad libs (“come on!”).
The lyrics of “Paranoia” explore the space between reality and imagination. It’s a mature subject with ruminations on self-doubt, overthinking, and the question of whether our fears are genuine, or only in our minds.
“Paranoia” has a sound that reflects Arianna’s playfulness and confidence as a songwriter. Arianna and her songwriting partner (her father) sing out vocal melodies, pairing them with lyric ideas until they find what they like, before bringing these ideas into the studio. These authentic beginnings ensure she is shaping a sound all her own.
“Paranoia” is part of a larger collection of edgy songs which started earlier in 2026 with the politically conscious rocker, “Land of No End (World Peace).” Eventually these songs will be grouped together as part of the EP Monster Mad in early 2027.
Her rock leanings were foreshadowed in 2024 with her strong version of Nirvana’s “About a Girl.” The cover song joined a growing discography that spans pop, soul, rock, and an overall polished urban sound that fits the style of the girl from Toronto.
It’s a big year ahead for the teenager. In the coming weeks, she will film a music video to coincide with the August 7th song release. After that, on October 25th, a livestreaming concert in Toronto is planned, with special guest artists being announced soon.
“Paranoia” is out August 7th, 2026 with promotional support from Starlight PR. Follow Arianna Tsar at the links below.
