Suki Waterhouse pokes fun at Robert Pattinson romance in new track

Suki Waterhouse has spoken about gently making fun of the ordinary side of her relationship with Robert Pattinson through one of her newest tracks.

The musician and actress gives listeners a glimpse into her life with the Twilight actor on Weirdo, which appears on her latest album, Loveland.

On the track, Suki sings: “You're on a set, is that Ancient Rome? / Now I'm on a drive, you're out on the road... I'm missing my favourite weirdo.”

In an interview with The Standard, the Daisy Jones & The Six actress said that although she and Robert would rather spend their time together, they also gain plenty of satisfaction from pursuing their individual careers.

“Obviously my favourite place in the world is to be together, but there's also so much enjoyment and fulfilment that both of us get from doing what we love and sometimes, if that means being apart, it's OK,” she shared while discussing how they manage their careers and relationship. “Just thank god for FaceTime!”

Suki also explores the good and difficult moments of a lasting romance on Tiny Raisin, where she sings: “He's all mine, and I hate his guts at the same time.”

Explaining the humorous line, the British artist said that she and Robert, who have now shared eight years together, feel secure enough to joke about their relationship.

“It's funny, that song to me has unlocked another level of love song where you've been with someone for such a long time that you get to be playful in that way and say little cheeky things and it's all with so much love,” she told the outlet. “It was fun for me to be able to do that.”

Suki and The Batman star started their relationship in 2018 after crossing paths during a games evening in Los Angeles. The couple welcomed their daughter, their first child, in 2024.
