Chappell Roan plans to continue dancing at the “Pink Pony Club,” and she is inviting her fans to take part in The Super Graphic Spectacular. The two day charity gathering will raise money for LGBTQ+ communities and transgender youth.
Roan and her nonprofit organization, The Midwest Princess Project, unveiled the “immersive” gathering on Friday, Aug. 7. The Super Graphic Spectacular will be held at The Shrine in Los Angeles on Oct. 21 and 22. The Grammy winner will lead both evenings with headline performances, while drag artists, activists and comedians will also participate. A press release explained that the occasion “will bring together artists, fans, creatives and advocates to celebrate queer joy, visibility and collective action.”
Further details about tickets, performers and surprise guests will be shared later. AXS will use its Fair AXS system to create a clear and balanced purchasing process while limiting access for scalpers and automated bots. Anyone hoping to attend may currently register through The Super Graphic Spectacular’s official site. Signups end Aug. 11 at 8:59 p.m. PT, and chosen fans will be sent an exclusive link to purchase admission.
Organizers stated that “every dollar raised” during the benefit will support The Midwest Princess Project’s “ongoing initiatives committed to fostering care, connection and access to resources.” The celebration also recognizes a full year of work from the organization, which has collected funds for services assisting LGBTQ+ communities and transgender youth. Roan’s concerts and public contributions have helped the project generate $800,000 so far.
Ahead of the October benefit, Roan will appear at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields. Roan has already placed nine tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, while her first record, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Rodrigo, known for “Vampire,” revealed the June 22 festival to support organizations serving women and girls. Stevie Nicks, KATSEYE and Doechii are also part of the lineup, which consists entirely of female performers.
