KATSEYE have had to postpone two more concerts after Megan Skiendiel suffered a concussion.

On Tuesday, a representative for the girl group announced at short notice that their The Wildworld Tour date in Detroit, Michigan would not be going ahead because Skiendiel was unwell.

The group’s shows in Chicago and Minneapolis, scheduled for later this week, have also been postponed. On Thursday, a spokesperson provided further information about the singer’s condition.

"The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion," they wrote in a statement shared via Instagram Stories. "We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you've been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there."

The representative stressed that KATSEYE are "truly sorry" to fans affected by the cancellations.

"We don't take that lightly, and we're truly sorry for the disappointment," they added. "We'll announce the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, so please hold on to your tickets. We can't wait to see you in both cities again soon. Thank you for your continued love, support and understanding."

Skiendiel, 20, has not yet spoken publicly about how she suffered the concussion.

New dates for the postponed concerts have not been announced.

This is not the first time the Touch hitmakers have had to make adjustments to the tour.

Manon Bannerman previously confirmed she would be taking a break for mental health reasons, while Sophia Laforteza is also missing the North American leg of the trek.

KATSEYE are currently scheduled to perform next in Austin, Texas, on 10 November.
