Logan Henderson is recovering after suffering a knee injury during a Big Time Rush concert that resulted in him being taken to hospital.

The singer addressed the incident in a video posted to both his personal Instagram Stories and the band's account after the group's performance in Kraków, Poland.

“Hey, Kraków, thank you for a great show. Sorry I couldn't stay to finish, I was having a little too much fun, so I hit my knee pretty bad and had to get taken to the emergency room.

“I'm doing OK, and they're fixing me up, so I should be better in no time,” he continued. “It's gonna be good, we're gonna put some stitches in there, but anyways, thanks for tonight. Love you guys, and I'm doing all right, so thank you for checking in.”

According to TMZ, the accident happened towards the end of the concert while the band were performing the energetic track ‘Love Me Love Me’. Henderson and his bandmates, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Carlos PenaVega, were performing a sliding dance move when he struck his leg against an object, leaving his knee badly cut.

A member of the group also reassured fans during the concert, with footage shared on social media capturing the announcement. “We just wanna let you know Logan's OK. He had a little fall, and we just wanna make sure that he's gonna be OK, so they're checking him out in the back,” the band member told the audience.

Big Time Rush are currently travelling across Europe as part of their Big Time Rush in Real Life Worldwide tour.

Although Henderson has yet to confirm exactly when he will return to the stage, TMZ reported that he hopes to rejoin his bandmates as soon as possible.

The group, known for songs including ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘Halfway There’, rose to fame playing fictional versions of themselves across four seasons of Nickelodeon's television series Big Time Rush.
