Nicole Scherzinger Reveals Leg Injury Ahead of Pussycat Dolls Gig

Nicole Scherzinger performed with the Pussycat Dolls in Germany despite suffering a painful burn from boiling water about an hour before the show.

The 48-year-old singer said the burn stretched from her knee to her ankle ahead of the group’s PCD Forever Tour stop at Düsseldorf’s PSD Bank Dome over the weekend. She went on stage as planned and later told fans what had happened in an Instagram post.

“Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set, but the show must go on. Thanks Dusseldorf for keeping me going,” she wrote.

Nicole was back on stage at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Sunday (27.09.26). The trio now head to the UK for arena shows, starting at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Tuesday (29.09.26). They are also due to play Dublin’s 3Arena on October 5 and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 7 before ending the tour at The O2 in London on October 13.

The reunion tour features Nicole, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt. Its North American leg ran into trouble, with the group cancelling nearly every date because of slow ticket sales. The trio announced the decision on Instagram in May.

“We want to share an important update with you. When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates,” they said.

The group kept their June 6 appearance at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles, calling it a meaningful chance to perform for a community that has backed them throughout their career. They added: “Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out.”

The Dolls also thanked supporters for their “love, patience, and support”, saying the show would celebrate their music, shared memories and connection with fans.
