Meek Mill believes that the solar eclipse from earlier this month opened up a portal to expose haters.
In a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday (April 26), the Philly native shared his thoughts on what occurred after the moon eclipsed the sun on April 8.
“The eclipse opened up the portal to everybody that was hating on you to be exposed! Black hatred level went up a few notches in 2024!” he wrote.
however, not everyone was on board with his thought process, however.
“be honest bro, you been laced?” one person replied, while another person added: “Bro tf u talking about man?”
A third comment read: “You need to take a break for a min.”
Meek Mill has been the subject of online jokes for a few months given that he was named in a lawsuit against Diddy as one of the Bad Boy mogul’s alleged sexual partners. Since details of the case first surfaced, he has repeatedly denied that anything of the kind ever occurred between them.
In late February, a producer named Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones (who worked on The Love Album: Off the Grid) accused the executive of sexual harassment as well as drugging and threatening him over the course of a year.
The legal paperwork has since been circulating online, with one note in particular generating tons of attention: “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper (REDACTED), R&B singer (REDACTED), and Stevie J.”
Though the two names were concealed, footnotes attached to each suggest that the lawsuit refers to Meek Mill and Usher given the respective descriptions: “He is a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” and “He performed at the Superbowl and had a successful Vegas residency.”
For his part, Benzino feels that the two Hip Hop figures having a sexual relations is “none of our fucking business” even if it is true.
“The internet makes all our business everybody’s business,” he said on the We In Miami podcast last week. “At least the privacy of what we’re doin’ in our bedroom should be private.”
He continued: “But what a man does in a man’s bedroom? […] Now, that’s a different narrative. Because real street n-ggas can be gay. We got to be adults, and we got to look at this for what it is.”
